Millennial women of color are encouraged and given the tools by La Femme Exec, a digital platform, to take control of their careers. Women of color tend to be underrepresented in every industry, despite significant progress toward gender equality worldwide. For younger, ambitious women who are considering different career opportunities, the absence of mentorship from women of color may create major challenges.
The goal of this initiative is to draw attention to the diverse and rewarding careers that women of color have around the world. We want to highlight the highs and lows that women will experience during their careers. Our aim is to provide guidance to other young women through engaging community events and digital content. We sincerely hope that after reading our blog and interacting with us, you’ll be motivated to break down barriers, mentor a woman in her early years, or look for mentorship from another woman.
